Responsibilities

The Account Director will be the face of CARMA throughout the client journey, starting with client onboarding till full implementation, ending with the renewal of the subscription.

The responsibilities include:

  • Lead a team of sales and client servicing professionals in multiple locations across MENA for a defined number of sectors.
  • Responsible for bringing in new revenue from prospective and existing clients
  • Maintaining high client satisfaction ratings that meet company standards and ensure excellent client retention rates
  • Oversee the team’s follow through on processes that deliver revenue growth
  • Drive cross-functional projects and alignment with critical departments like finance, marketing, product, monitoring, analysis, and market research.
  • Managing sales cycles and client deliverables from end to end, and supporting sales & client servicing team members in doing the same
  • Manage the onboarding, activation, and strategic relationship with key accounts
  • Ensure that all clients derive maximum value from their investment and utilize all their products through continuous client contact

 

Job requirements

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, communications, or any relevant field.

Minimum experience: 5+ years of experience in selling & delivering client-focused solutions.

Technical and behavioral competencies (knowledge, skills and abilities):

  • Strong understanding of media and communications
  • Experience in B2B services in the form of SaaS, analytics, media intelligence and/or business intelligence
  • Experience in managing and leading a team
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients’ accounts at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Proven ability to drive new revenue
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
