Job Purpose
We’re looking for a team leader with strong operational skills and a passion for news and current affairs. As an Executive Briefings Manager based in Malaysia, you will manage our growing team and be responsible for the delivery of daily news summaries and news briefings to our clients across APAC.
Job Description
- Lead the Executive Briefings team and contribute to the Insights Leadership group in APAC
- Manage the recruitment and training of team members in order to service our growing business
- Manage the operations of the team to ensure client deadlines are met
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our Executive Reports service so that our clients receive high quality reports
- Lead the on-boarding process with clients to ensure they receive the highest standard of reporting and customer service
- Brainstorm and strategise ways to evolve and improve report quality and team efficiency
- Provide accurate and detailed metrics on efficiency and profitability performance on a monthly basis
- Train the team and manage resources to effectively service our growing Insights business
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams and cultures.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
- Strong operational skills and demonstrable operations experience
- Team leadership experience
- Exceptional attention to detail with reports and/or translations
- Excellent resource planning skills
- Experience in recruiting and training team members
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and one other native language (Chinese/Malay/Tamil)
- Strong team player with the ability to lead by example
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Experience
- 4+ years of experience in a related industry and/or role (Operations experience is desired)
- Degree (Preferably in Media, Communications)
