Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using front-end and back-end technologies.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Debug, test, and fix issues as they arise.
- Continuously improve the application’s performance and scalability.
- Ensure the security of the application and its data.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members.
- Stay up-to-date with new web development technologies and best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
- Comply with CARMA policies and procedures and support CARMA mission and vision.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by direct manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in full-stack web development.
- Previous experience with Big Data projects is preferred
- Social Monitoring and Integration experience is beneficial
- Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
