Responsibilities
- Manage and administer the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems.
- Perform routine system maintenance tasks and ensure the availability and reliability of IT services.
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with the level 1 and level 2 IT teams to resolve escalated support tickets.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring smooth and secure data transmission.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, routers, and switches to uphold network security.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard company data.
- Stay up to date on industry best practices and compliance requirements, ensuring the organization’s IT infrastructure adheres to relevant standards.
- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Conduct regular testing of backup systems and procedures.
- Work closely with other IT team members and departments to understand and address their technology needs.
- Document IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Update the inventory database of all IT equipment and software licenses.
- Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software, thus ensuring daily monitoring and completion of scheduled jobs.
- Active monitoring of infrastructure and ticket systems during allocated shifts. Reacting to or escalating issues as needed.
- Comply with CARMA policies and procedures and support CARMA mission and vision.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or technical level in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Relevant Microsoft Certification is preferred.
Experience
2+ years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
