Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the print, online and broadcast departments at CARMA.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance team efficiency and performance.
- Lead and coordinate with the department managers by providing direction, mentorship and support.
- Identify and integrate advanced technology solutions to streamline the media monitoring process.
- Stay updated with the latest media monitoring tools and trends.
- Implement automation where possible to improve content quality.
- Establish and monitor teams’ performance to ensure department’s objectives are met.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of reports sent out to clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- Understand client needs and ensure the delivery of high-quality media monitoring output.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external media partners and vendors.
- Report to direct manager on a weekly basis on departments progress and achievements.
- Comply with CARMA policies and procedures and support CARMA mission and vision.
Qualifications
BA in Journalism, Communication, Advertising, Marketing, PR or any related field.
Experience
5 to 7 years of experience in a managerial position, preferably from a media background.
