Insights Operational Manager

Responsibilities

  • Implement objectives and communicate them with the team, thus ensuring they always work based on updated information.
  • Distribute tasks among the team, with a fair and even allocation of reports.
  • Analyze media content to draw meaningful insights and help with furthering clients’ business goals.
  • Identify and summarize key topics of interest as per the client’s requirements.
  • Issue high-quality client reports, qualitative and/or quantitative, by always respecting the tight deadlines, and by including tables and charts that visualize data, along with summaries and narratives that conclude the findings.
  • Provide detailed quality checks for the reports delivered by team members and ensure they meet client standards.
  • Improve overall efficiency of the report writing process and maintain a profitability above 30%.
  • Liaise with the Insights Quality Assurance Editors to identify error trends and points of improvement in team members and suggest training plans.
  • Coordinate closely with the project operation team, thus ensuring the accuracy and relevancy of search queries, based on client requirements.
  • Liaise with the Coding team to plan workflows and ensure reports are delivered on time.
  • Coordinate with Client Success, regularly, to review, understand and ensure client requirements are met.
  • Play an integral role in working cohesively with the team to ensure all deliverables and tasks are performed efficiently and within the set deadlines.
  • Support, guide insight analysts, insight quality assurance editors and insight managers, evaluate their performance and recommend trainings if need be, in coordination with HR Department and Insights Director.
  • Fill on TICK the time allocated for every assignment/report, on a regular basis, ensure the team is filling their tasks on TICK and update concerned parties on employees’ status change (new joiner, leaver, transfer, etc.).
  • Comply with CARMA policies and procedures and support CARMA mission and vision.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by direct manager.

Qualifications

  • BA in Journalism, Business Analytics, Communication, Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations or any related field.
  • Familiar with data visualization and dashboard tools, Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, etc.
  • Experience in both qualitative and quantitative reporting.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in an analytical role (including data analysis, market research) within marketing research, media intelligence and data technology or consulting firm.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a managerial position.
