Insights Research Executive

Source, select and categorize social media items to produce clear, concise, and accurate daily alerts, in addition to reports based on client specific requirements. Provide accurate coded data for analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor social media platforms to find points of interest to the client through the latest tools and technology provided by CARMA.
  • Categorize items (sentiment/topics analysis) according to client requirements, following the briefing document and the understanding of the client requirements.
  • Translate and/or summarize social media posts to English.
  • Create accurate and informative reports, Real-time/Daily Alerts, and coded data sheets, as per the client requirements.
  • Create attractive and informative charts and tables, imported from the analyzed content data, as per the clients’ requirements.
  • Filter and code social media data to extract valuable insights and trends.
  • Search and focus on buzz alerts, based on spikes in interests or rising issues, and directly report to client.
  • Conduct research on influencers to add to the database.
  • Comply with CARMA policies and procedures and support CARMA mission and vision.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct manager.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical 

  • Strong knowledge in MS Office, and especially Excel.
  • Excellent command of English and Arabic.
  • Research skills.
  • Strong understanding of key platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, and Snapchat.

Experience 

  • BA in Journalism, Communication, Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, or any related field.
  • One year of experience as a Social Media Monitoring Executive or Researcher is preferred.
