Richard Bagnall is a global leader in PR and communications measurement and evaluation, with over 30 years of experience advising international clients. He has held leadership positions in some of the world’s top measurement and data analytics businesses, including Metrica, Gorkana, PRIME Research, and CARMA, where he currently serves as the global co-managing partner and CEO of Europe and the Americas.
For the last decade, Richard has advised the UK Government’s Strategy & Evaluation Council on Departmental best practice for communications evaluation. He has been highly involved with media intelligence global professional association AMEC since its inception, and most recently, chaired the organization for six years across three terms of office.
Richard has been instrumental in creating several of AMEC’s best practice resources, including its Evaluation Framework, a communications evaluation process recognized globally as best practice and used by thousands of organizations worldwide, the PR planning guide and AMEC’s Measurement Maturity Mapper.
His services to the sector have seen him recognised multiple times for lifetime achievement, including the CIPR’s President’s medal, AMEC’s Don Bartholomew Award, Fellowship of both AMEC and the PRCA as well as induction into the USA’s PR News’ Measurement Hall of Fame.
