Marketing Executive

We are seeking a Marketing Executive to join our ambitious team. Reporting into our regional Head of Marketing, this position will play a critical part in driving CARMA’s growth across both the US and UK markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for both delivering marketing execution and supporting insights-driven initiatives. This position requires someone who is commercially minded, highly proactive, data-driven and comfortable being outward-facing. They will be comfortable making things happen to ensure CARMA continues to build its presence, attract clients, and deliver high-quality content and events. This role blends marketing execution (social media, campaigns, events, sponsorships, content creation) with insights-led contributions (spotting trends, supporting reports, providing data-informed insights, measuring campaign success). The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and collaborating across teams to deliver measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Attraction:

  • Support the creation of marketing reports and insight pieces that demonstrate CARMA’s expertise and add value for prospects.
  • Assist in writing and proofreading blog posts, email campaigns, and customer-facing collateral.
  • Monitor brand presence and market trends to spot growth opportunities.

Marketing Execution & Growth Activities

  • Draft and schedule engaging content for CARMA’s social media channels.
  • Support the creation, proofreading, and compilation of email marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and facilitate sponsorships, self-hosted events, and webinars, driving attendance and engagement.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of marketing insights portals, marketing assets, and collateral.
  • Contribute to the development of guides, case studies, presentations, newsletters, and other materials.

Building a Marketing Presence:

  • Assist the US business development team in organising and coordinating CARMA’s self-hosted and sponsored events within the USA.
  • Formulate and compile sales-specific collateral for events within the region.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with global and regional marketing teams and clients, ensuring insights and campaign updates are clear and actionable.
  • Represent CARMA externally at events, webinars, and industry forums where required.
  • Provide practical support to sales teams by creating tailored collateral and assets for business development.

Campaign & Insights Support:

  • Support campaign set-up and monitoring through CARMA’s platform and other tools.
  • Provide campaign reporting and performance tracking, applying learnings to improve outcomes.
  • Help produce reports through drafting, proofreading, and gathering supporting content.

Learning & Development:

  • Continuously expand your skills across marketing execution, event management, and insights.
  • Stay current with best practices in digital marketing, communications, and media trends.

Skills & Qualifications

  • A strong track record in any marketing role.
  • Proficiency in handling and interpreting raw data.
  • Strong understanding of regional market differences and marketing dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and curious mindset.
  • A willingness to travel for work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms and tools is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of best practices in the communications evaluation sector, latest industry trends, topics, and issues.
  • Excellent written and spoken English with a comprehensive understanding of grammar.
  • In-depth, working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
  • Team player, management, delegation, and motivation experience preferred.
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset with an ability to rapidly learn new tools and techniques.
  • Commercial awareness coupled with effective closing capabilities.
  • Experienced in working across multiple Insights projects at any one time.
