Media Analyst – Kuala Lumpur


  • Manage complex quantitative and qualitative media analysis projects in order to provide clients with high level reporting on their media performance and brand reputation.
  • Analyse and interpret mainstream, social media and market research data sets in order to provide meaningful insights for clients
  • Design visually compelling reports via PowerPoint and Tableau
  • Brainstorm and strategise ways to evolve and improve report quality and team efficiency
  • Manage your portfolio of projects to ensure reports are of an exceptional quality and delivered to deadline
  • Support the Commercial Team by advising and contributing best practices in quantitative and qualitative reporting techniques


  • Advanced Skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint (essential)
  • Degree in Media, Communications or Public Relations (desirable)


  • 2+ years of experience in a related industry (essential)
  • Exceptional corporate writing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent project management and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional data analysis skills in Excel and/or data visualisation platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and one other native language (Chinese/Malay/Tamal)
  • Ability to work effectively individually and in a fun team environment
  • Passion in news, current affairs and social media trends
