Sergio started working as an IT Director in 1999 aged 23 at a Portuguese Media Company and held a number of senior roles before joining CARMA in 2016. He has led and built teams in various industries covering Communications, Energy, Transportation, Media, Streaming, and Fintech – leaving him well placed to understand the needs of our diverse international client base at CARMA. Passionate about empowering companies through the use of technology, Sergio has a particular interest and skillset in, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and deep learning. While he spent much of his life in Portugal, Sergio leads CARMA’s IT team from our Malta offices.
